​A1 Healthy Home’s was fantastic! I had a Radon Mitigation system installed in my home and it was a bit tricky since my townhome is not on an end unit. They did quality work and did it quickly for a great price. Their cost was less expensive than two other companies’ quotes I received. The two other companies I received quotes from were very hesitant to perform the service because it was a bit tricky but A1 had no issues with it. I would definitely recommend A1 to anyone!

contacted A1 Radon to test my home for radon. One of their technicians arrived on a Friday to drop off the testing device, and again picked the equipment up on Sunday. I received my results the following business day. All communication with A1 was very professional. Our test were below the 4.1 standard, so no mitigation was necessary. I would not hesitate to hire them for installation if that was needed. Thanks A1 for your professional service.

We hired A1 Healthy Homes to install our Radon mitigation system when we purchased our house: our level was a 36 to begin with! After installing the system and testing again, it was still very high (around an 18). The system was working properly, but the Radon was still getting into our basement somehow. James and Jon continued working on finding the source of the Radon, changing and upgrading the Radon mitigation system, and sealing up any cracks. When most companies would have likely given up and told us they didn't know where the Radon was coming from, A1 Healthy Homes stuck with us the whole time! They ended up finding the source of the Radon and brought our levels all the way down below 1! We couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend their team to anyone!

We had an excellent experience! They were very informative! This is a family owned and operated business! We just needed our system checked but one of our sons actually needed a mitigation system put in. They ran it up the back of the house with a double roof line and ended up aliening the white PVC piping with his white window frames! It turned out better than we could have possibly hoped for!

"I am very happy with my choice of contractor and results of their work.  Most importantly, the radon in our home was reduced to an acceptable level as a result of the work done. James responded to my phone calls and emails - promptly.  He provided a quote by phone and followed up with an email contract for work to be done.  He was able to meet my requests for appointment day and time.  I was contacted the morning of the day the work was to be done by the technician and he told me his approximate arrival time, and was here at that time. The technician had a professional appearance and was very pleasant.  He was respectful of my property - inside and out.  He went right to work upon arrival and did not quit until the project was completed.  He left absolutely no mess.  Upon completion of the work we had a walk-through and he explained what had been done in layman terms and told me what to expect with regards to follow-up by James.  When James came for follow-up, again he called and told me of his arrival time and was here when I had been told.  I appreciated this courtesy, but it was important for him as well since I live an hour away.  Again, James had a professional appearance, treated me with courtesy, did a good job of explaining and took the time to answer my questions.  Thank you, A1 Radon!"

"James came to our rescue!  There were torrential down pours in KC today and of course, as luck would have it, our basement was flooding at the connection site of the radon mitigation system and the sump pump.  We called James to ask if he could come check it out since we weren't really sure if it was related to the radon installation or not.  It was also all sealed up and was hard to see through the Plexiglas what the problem was.  He made time in his evening schedule to come out to our house around 8pm to unseal the area, check out the issue, fix the problem and then seal it all back up and make sure the seals were good and the radon and the sump were running effectively and the radon fan had the right amount of pressure.  It was super nice of him to come out on short notice and take care of the sump pump problem for us.  It was a simple tightening of the sump pump piping brackets luckily.  James did a great job in taking care of us and I would highly recommend his service!"
